People leave church for many reasons. You might have gotten busy, disagreed with something, or perhaps felt hurt by someone or something. Whatever caused you to step away, you don’t need to have everything figured out before deciding to come back.
Human brokenness can cause individuals within the Church to fail others, and sometimes badly. But what happened, doesn’t have to be the end of your relationship with God. Coming back can start with simply walking through the doors again.
It’s okay if life got busy and faith took a back seat. Your past or time away is never too big or too much. God is always there, waiting for you to return. Simply show up – you may be pleasantly surprised by what still feels familiar.
